Calvander Company features stoneware pottery, both hand-built and wheel-thrown. Artist Kara Thornton explores her passions for color and texture inspired by encounters in the natural world. 

 

When she's not exploring the outdoors and recording videos for Mobile Mushrooms, Kara can be found in her backyard art studio, based in Hillsborough, NC.
